BANH MI BY DOUN'S

This sandwich is a Banh mi, like DOUN’S. This recipe is of Vietnamese origin, it is juicy, acid, sweet, tasty, finally, test this delight!

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breast fillets

  • Cucumber

  • Carrot

  • Coriander

  • Green salad

  • Sesame oil

  • Soy sauce

  • Sweet Chili Sauce

  • Baguette

  • Pickles of ginger

  • Red pepper bird

  • Red onion

  • Lime

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken marinade with a nice drizzle of sesame oil, two tablespoons of sweet chili sauce and add soy sauce at the height.

  2. Cut your chicken into pieces (like in the photos) to make it easier to incorporate into the sandwich.

  3. Marinate the chicken throughout the preparation.

  4. Slice your salad, chop your cilantro, chop your half onion lengthwise, and peel your carrot and cucumber thoroughly to get thin slices as in the photos. This cut is more aesthetic and pleasant in the mouth.

  5. For the salad sauce, add to a bowl the juice of half a lime, two tablespoons of soy sauce and a tablespoon of sesame oil.

  6. Pour the sauce into the salad.

  7. Sear your chicken over high heat and when you get a nice lightly toasted coloring on each side, reduce to medium heat, add the marinade sauce and put a lid to have a deep cooking.

  8. Remove your chicken pieces and take the sauce from the pan with a spoon and brush the bread with it.

  9. Assemble the sandwich with the chicken, salad, a few pickles of ginger (recipe available by clicking on this link), a few pieces of pepper birds (if you like the spice), a few slices of fresh red onion and some cilantro leaves.

  10. Enjoy this beauty!

Ps : If you have any salad or chicken left and the sandwich is filled to the max, you can make the Asian chicken salad which is very similar.
