FOCACCIA SANDWICH





When you’re in a hurry, you don’t necessarily have time to prepare a meal, but you don’t want to rush your meal because it’s an important time for you. It’s "the" easy-to-make recipe that’s all about assembling. All the colors of Italy are in this sandwich! The key to this recipe is simply the quality of the products. Focaccia sandwich, tuna belly, artichokes, tomato sauce, basil, and Parmesan


Ingredients

  • 1 Focaccia Bread

  • Sun-dried tomatoes

  • Pickled artichokes

  • Tuna belly

  • Tomato concentrate

  • Parmesan

  • Basil

  • Fresh spinach

  • Thyme

Instructions

  1. Prepare a "tomato sauce" cold

  2. In a bowl, mix 2-3 spoons of tomato concentrate, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, thyme or rosemary, a light drizzle of lemon juice, 2 chopped basil leaves, and the bottom of a glass of water (very little water, just to liquefy the mixture slightly), salt and pepper.

  3. Spread the sauce on your oven and bake for 3 to 5 min at 180 °C

  4. Grate Parmesan shavings

  5. Add the sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes, some fresh spinach leaves, tuna belly, fresh basil leaves, Parmesan cheese, a drizzle of olive oil, and a little lemon juice to the bread.

  6. Enjoy this marvel with a good Peroni or other Italian beers.
